It NZ Ltd was established in 2001 by it’s current director
Colin Watt.Having spent 15 years in sales, marketing and management
in the courier industry, Colin decided he required a new direction
in life and self employment was the answer.
Colin
looked at a number of business opportunities but nothing caught his
eye. However by chance through a mutual acquaintance he was introduced
to an importer of apparel and headwear who was looking for a supplier
for his products.
After
an initial successful trial of the market, Colin proceeded to set
up a new company Called Capz and Shirtz Direct. Within the first
6 months of trading the realisation set in that customers were looking
for more than just caps and shirts. So a decision was made to expand
the business to supply the total range of promotional products and
apparel. Accordingly the company’s name changed to Promote
It NZ Ltd.
Over
the last 4 years Promote It NZ Ltd has had a annual turnover growth
of in excess 20% per annum. There is now 5 full time staff based
in Auckland and a sub branch with 2 staff in New Plymouth. The customer
base now extends from Whangarei to Dunedin. We have secured sole
distributions rights to Apparel for companies such as Onyx NZ Ltd
and Recreational Services.
As
anyone is well aware, there are a number of Promotional Companies
in the market. We are continually asked the question “What
makes Promote It NZ Ltd different from the rest?” The answer
is simple. We have a philosophy of exceeding our customers expectations
by way of quality of product produced and the service offered being
beyond reproach. We will never ever be the “cheapest”
in the market nor the most expensive. What we offer is exceptional
